Excitement is building as the new Kings arena, Golden One Center, opens in less than three weeks.

One Chico based company is thrilled to partner with the basketball team helping to make the business more efficient.

Ray Morgan Company opened in 1956 and has expanded across the state now it is looking forward to teaming up with the new arena in Sacramento for years to come.

"Help them become more sustainable, paperless while reducing the operating costs on all of their equipment. Printers, copiers," said Greg Martin, President of Ray Morgan Company.

The $477-million arena chose to work with Ray Morgan Company exclusively.

Martin says this was several years in the making and is thrilled.

"The Kings have a lot of choices and again we were fortunate enough to show them that we would be the best partner for them," said Martin.

Ray Morgan has been helping companies to be more efficient for 60 years and will be helping the Kings reduce their carbon foot print.

"They had been out sourcing a lot of their color printing for brochures and all those things and we have provided a solution to bring that in house," said Martin.

Not only does Ray Morgan have an account with them, but the company also has a sponsorship the new arena.

"I've always loved going to the games and watching the team grow and we have suite so we will be going to a lot of the games and bringing our clients and prospects," said Martin.

The technology solutions company has expanded to 13 different locations in California as well as offices in Reno and Las Vegas.

Martin says Chico is its smallest market, but the owners have kept this location as their headquarters because it's home.

"I wouldn't live in any other place and to again to have the benefit of being a thriving business in Chico and being a big part of the community," said Martin.

The owners of Ray Morgan, by the way, are Chico State grads.

Sierra Nevada Brewing Company also has a contract with the Kings to sell it's beer in the arena.

The new facility has been under construction for the last year and will open October 5th.
