Evaluating Your Print Fleet for Cost Savings

    ProsAndCons.jpg

The costs associated with printing can be a huge expense to businesses of all sizes. Furthermore, many businesses do not realize the exact amount of their print fees. Unfortunately, too many companies overpay for print services, often sub-par, simply because they are busy and lack awareness. Are you one of them?

    Take Stock

If you feel like your print costs might be high, and you are not happy with the services you are receiving, it is time to take a look at the relationship with your print services provider. If you are experiencing inferior print quality, mediocre or poor service, long service wait times, or any other issues, it might be time for a change.

    Go Beyond the Status Quo

There are many reasons that businesses pay too much for print service. Here are some of the most popular excuses used:

    • Have a contract or agreement
    • Satisfied with current service provider
    • We own our equipment and buy supplies online
    • We are happy enough with our current copier/printer
    • Copiers are too expensive to invest in

Do you see yourself in any of those excuses? They might seem insurmountable, but they are not. You can implement changes and start paying less for your businesses print fleet. Here are some reasons you should reevaluate.

    • Printer or copier you are currently leasing is not necessarily the best value for the money. There are probably better options for you—newer equipment that can save money and minimize waste.
    • When was the last time you reassessed your relationship with your current print provider? Even if you are currently satisfied that does not mean there isn’t a better option out there—like us!
    • Technology evolves quickly. Is your current printer still meeting all of your needs? When was the last time you evaluated your equipment?

By reevaluating your current print fleet and service provider, you may be able to save a significant amount of money for your business and increase print productivity.
